Filling in the void 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his recent speech spoke about how better connectivity and infrastructure development has boosted the tourism sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
PM Modi highlighted how the government is working comprehensively in the manufacturing and tourism sectors in Jammu and Kashmir to create employment avenues.
The Prime Minister talking about J&K’s development in detail shows that the Union Territory figures on top of the PM’s priority list and he is keenly monitoring all the developments taking place in Jammu and Kashmir.
During the past three years J&K has witnessed unprecedented development and the Centre has put in all the efforts to bring the erstwhile princely state at par with other places in the country.
The government has been focusing on developing all the sectors and is trying its best to ensure that the benefits of all the schemes reach the people.
Health and education infrastructure in J&K have been strengthened with the launch of 2 new AIIMS, 7 new medical colleges, 2 state cancer institutes and 15 nursing homes in recent years.
Rozgar Mela (Jobs Fairs) are being held as a part of the steps taken by the Central Government to promote employment and self-employment in Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier this week PM Modi addressed a Rozgar Mela through a virtual mode in J&K, and Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, handed over the appointment letters to 3000 aspirants during the event.
Besides employing the youth in the government sector, the helmsmen have introduced numerous self employment schemes . Youth are being encouraged to become entrepreneurs. The Single window clearance system is helping the budding entrepreneurs to set up their projects quickly and start their ventures without any hassles.
New approaches and new thinking have replaced the old system. According to the government figures, 30,000 youth have been provided with government jobs after the abrogation of Article 370, while more than 5.5 lakth youth have been provided employment through various self employment schemes. The youth have been kept busy and the government reaching out to them has instilled confidence in them that nothing can stop them from chasing their dreams. Pro-people initiatives have helped in filling the void between the government and people as everyone is keen on boarding the wagon of development.
