Doda: Six people, including two women, were injured after a car lost control and overturned in the Bhalla area of Bhaderwah in Doda district late Monday night, officials said.
The accident occurred when an Ignis car was traveling through the Bhalla area during the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.
All six injured were shifted to Government Medical College (GMC), Doda, for treatment, an official said. Their condition was not immediately known.
The injured were identified as Riya Devi, 17, Rajni Devi, 40, Sulinder Kumar, 43, Rohit Kumar, 19, Romesh Kumar, 50, and Sonu Sharma, 30.
Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident, while the circumstances leading to the accident are being verified. [KNT]
