Nowgam Blast: JKPCC leaders visit injured persons in hospital

Srinagar Nov 18: On the directions of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra, a delegation of Congress leaders Tuesday visited Nowgam blast injured in Ujala hospital and enquired about their condition.

The delegation interacted with the patients and prayed for their speedy recovery.

The delegation visited the residence of Late Mohd Shafi Parray, who was martyred in the horrifying accidental blast that happened in Nowgam Police Station and expressed heartfelt condolences to family and relatives of the deceased and prayed for eternal peace to departed souls.

The delegation demanded a time-bound probe into the incident, which cost many precious lives and left dozens injured. They demanded justice for the family.

Parrey was a lone bread earner of his family, there was no other earning to support them, Congress leaders said and urged upon the government to provide full compensation including government job to the family of Mohd Shafi Parrey.

Later, the delegation visited the Soibug Budgam residence of Late Naib Tehsildar Dr. Muzaffar Ahmad Khan, who was also martyred in this tragic accidental blast.

The delegation met the deceased family and expressed condolences and sympathies with them. Congress leaders demand full compensation including Govt job to family of Dr.Muzaffar Ahmad Khan.

Those who were part of the delegation included Nissar Ahmad Mandoo, Dr. Audil Farooq Mir(Lasjan), Moulvi Maqool, Majid Wani, Yasir  Mandoo, Er.Basharat Wani and various other leaders.
