Jammu, Nov 11: The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh on Tuesday announced the winter timing schedule for all District Courts across the Kashmir Division and the Union Territory of Ladakh. The new schedule will come into effect from December 1, 2025, and will remain in force until March 31, 2026.
According to Notification No. 3407 of 2025/RG/NG-03(1) issued by Registrar General M.K. Sharma, the office hours during this period will be 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a lunch break from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The court sitting hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., divided into two sessions — the first session up to 1:00 p.m. and the second session from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The revised timings will remain effective throughout the winter months for courts functioning in both the Kashmir Division and the UT of Ladakh. Thereafter, from April 1, 2026, the courts will revert to the regular timing schedule prescribed under High Court Order No. 1638/NG dated May 22, 2020.
