Srinagar: Senior police officer Ashish Kumar Mishra, who recently served in the role of SSP Srinagar, has been relieved from J&K UT to take up a new assignment in Delhi Police.
Mishra is an IPS officer of the 2013 batch and has served in multiple key positions in north and south Kashmir. Before entrusting him with a new assignment in Delhi Police, Mishra served as SSP Srinagar for less than a year.
“In pursuance of the approval of Competent Authority, Shri Ashish Kumar Mishra, IPS (AGMUT: 2013), is hereby relieved from the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, to enable him to take up new assignment in Delhi Police,” reads an order copy.
