Srinagar, Mar 01: The Health & Medical Education (H&ME) Department Friday assigned the position of Project Director of the AIDS Control Society to Dr. Abdul RoufBhat, Deputy Director of Health Services, Kashmir.
In an order issued in this regard, H&ME said: “It is hereby ordered that Dr. Abdul RoufBhat, Deputy Director Health Services, Kashmir, shall look after the charge of the post of Project Director, AIDS Control Society, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.”
The arrangement, order noted, in respect of the doctor “is made purely on temporary basis and subject to the outcome of writ petition(s), if any, pending before the Court(s) of law and shall not confer any right upon the doctor to claim preferential treatment at the time of regularization/ placement/promotion which shall be made strictly in accordance with the rules.”
