Qazigund: At least five policemen were injured after a police vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road at Kurigam area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, police said on Tuesday.
A police officer said that a police 407 van skidded off the road at Kurigam Qazigund, resulting in injuries to five police personnel.
“All the injured policemen were rushed to the emergency hospital in Qazigund for immediate medical attention, where two among them have shifted to GMC Anantnag,” the officer said.
He said all the police personnel are now out of danger and are currently receiving medical treatment in the hospital, adding that this incident was an unfortunate road accident .“Further investigation has been initiated to uncover the factors that contributed to this accident,” he added. (KNO)
