MY HUMBUG SMILES

By: Shahid Ul Islam

My fake grins are the curtains of the teary eyes & the
broken heart.
You laugh but not with your heart,
I know you are an eccedentesiast,
And hides the pain and the true tears,
I know truthful smiles are nowhere in your life,
It has been long, your truthful smiles have been
purloined,
Only the phoney smiles remain on your face,
Your vigour, your love all has been lost,
How the truthful smiles would be on your face,
The scars of your heart bleed through words in the form
of poetry.
Who cares about you, no one,
But only He sees your tears, you hide with smiles,
You are in search of peace and effulgent smiles,
You would also laugh heartily and the truth comes in
your smiles.
My journey of the way of loving you was strenuous,
baffling & dreadful.
I am not perfect in lot of ways but the my pure, soft &
emotional love was of worth .
She used to say me that she will ask about you every
evening ,
Have you forgotten or there is no evening in your city.
