Indian cricket is governed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), which is currently the richest cricket board in the world, with an estimated net worth of nearly ₹20,000 crore. Recently, the IPL created history and sparked celebrations across Kashmir with the selection of a young Kashmiri cricketer, Aqib Dar, for the upcoming edition of the league.
