Srinagar: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast partly to generally cloudy weather across Jammu and Kashmir over the coming days, with occasional spells of light rain or snow over isolated higher reaches.
According to the latest forecast, October 21 will see partly to generally cloudy skies with a brief spell of very light rain or snow at a few higher reaches. From October 22 to 23, the weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy and largely dry across most parts of the region.
On October 24, cloudy conditions are likely to develop by late afternoon or evening, accompanied by a brief spell of very light snow over isolated higher reaches. Between October 25 and 27, the weather will remain generally to partly cloudy with dry conditions prevailing.
For October 28 and 29, partly to generally cloudy skies are expected towards the evening, with a possibility of light rain at a few places and light snow over higher reaches. The period from October 30 to 31 is likely to witness partly cloudy and dry weather across the Union Territory.
The MET Centre has advised farmers to continue their ongoing agricultural activities, as no significant weather disturbance is expected during the forecast period.
