PULWAMA, OCTOBER 15: In compliance with the directions of NALSA and JK Legal Services Authority, 4th Undertrial Review Committee (UTRC) meeting was held Wednesday in the office chambers of Pr. District & Sessions judge Pulwama.
The meeting was presided over by the Pr. District & Sessions Judge Pulwama, Secretary DLSA Pulwama, SSP Pulwama, ADC Pulwama, Superintendent of Sub-Jail Pulwama and Chief LADC Pulwama.
In this meeting the list of Under trial prisoners furnished by the concerned authorities was taken up for consideration.
A total of 6 cases were taken up and discussed and out of which 2 cases were recommended for consideration by the committee as per the guidelines and remaining 4 were recommended for medical examination to the concerned medical board in order to get their present health status and accordingly the concerned court will decide their release as per the law.
