‘Operation Sindoor’: COAS lauds troops in Bla

Baramulla, May 15: Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi on Thursday visited forward posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district, where he praised Indian Army troops for their valour and operational dominance during Operation Sindoor.

During his visit to the Dagger Division under the Chinar Corps, General Dwivedi interacted with soldiers and commended them for their courage, high morale (josh) and unrelenting vigilance in maintaining control over sensitive border zones.

“The Chief of Army Staff appreciated the troops’ role in destroying terror camps across the LoC in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir and lauded their efforts in defending civilians from Pakistan’s indiscriminate cross-border shelling,” said the Additional Directorate General of Public Information in a post on social media platform X.

Addressing the soldiers, the Army Chief emphasized the importance of constant operational readiness. “Remain ever prepared to respond to any challenge with decisive force,” he told the troops, reaffirming the Army’s commitment to defending the nation against any provocation.

The visit to the forward areas is seen as a morale booster for the troops, following their critical role in the recent large-scale anti-terror operation that has drawn nationwide praise for its precision and success. (KINS)
