Dr. Arvind releases 2 Kashmiri Bhajans

Jammu, Dec 30: The Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (M), J&K, Monday released two Kashmiri Bhajans produced by Athrot Cultural Foundation and dedicated to the Mata Kheer Bhawani (Kul Devi of Kashmiri Pandits).
The Bhajans have been sung by Kanwal Peshin, inspired from his late father Pt Janki Nath Peshin, who used to sing these bhajans “Dodhharki Pyale Baryey” and “Shur Chuss Meaj Bhawani” written by Pt. Jia Lal Saraf at the divine place of Mata Kheer Bhawani.
According to a statement issued here, the music and Video have been arranged by Ravi Dhar owner of Vitasta Music Production.
The Relief Commissioner along with D.C Relief Vijay Sharma while releasing the Bhajans praised the phenomenal work of Athrot Cultural Foundation headed by R.K Pandita and Abhimanyu Peshin.
The Bhajans were released in presence of Muktesh Yogi, Socio-Political Activist, Advisor to Team Athrot and Dr. Rohit Koul, Director and CEO of Peoples Hut Foundation.

The Bhajans are available across the globe on Athrot Productions YouTube channel and The Modern Kashmiri Pandits Facebook page while releasing the bhajans other guests greeted the Chief Guest a Bouquet was presented by Muktesh Yogi, Dr. Rohit Koul presented a Kashmiri shawl to the chief Guest for the grand success in conducting Kheer Bhawani yatra this year.
DC Relief Vijay Sharma said J&K has no dearth of talent but the only need is to identify and polish it by expert hands. He hoped that the devotional songs released today will inspire young artists in the Kashmiri Pandit community to explore their hidden talent and make their niche in the society.
Dr Karwani praised community youth for taking privilege in preserving culture he appreciated team Athrot for the contributions in preserving culture in exile and added that music plays a pivotal role in preserving culture and taking it beyond boundaries.
He said that artists like Kanwal Peshin deserve all the encouragement by the organizations associated with promotion of art and culture besides the electronic channels.
