Various NC, BJP candidates file papers

Srinagar: As the Jammu & Kashmir Assembly elections 2024 approach, BJP candidates from Central Kashmir submitted their nomination papers today, accompanied by a large number of supporters, party leaders, and workers.
Ashok Bhat, contesting from the Habbakdal constituency in Srinagar, filed his nomination with the support of Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh and BJP National President Tarun Chugh.
In the Lal Chowk constituency, Er. Aijaz submitted his nomination, reflecting the BJP’s commitment to securing a strong foothold in one of Srinagar’s most significant areas.
He was accompanied by BJP Senior Leader, Waqf Board Chairperson, and Minister of State Dr. Darakshan Andrabi.
Arif Raja, the BJP candidate for the Eidgah constituency, also filed his nomination today, with former MLC Charanjit Singh Khalsa by his side, showcasing the party’s unity and stability as it heads into the election.(KINS)
Meanwhile, three key candidates of the National Conference for the upcoming Assembly Elections filed their nomination papers in Srinagar today. Salman Sagar, Mushtaq Guru, and Ahsan Pardesi, all prominent NC leaders, officially joined the electoral race.
Salman Sagar, a well-known face, filed his nomination for the Khanyar constituency, reaffirming his commitment to the people of Srinagar. Mushtaq Guru, another leader, submitted his papers for the Eidgah constituency, while Ahsan Pardesi, a rising star within the party, filed his nomination for the Sonwar constituency. KINS
