Srinagar: Senior BJP leader and party’s JK spokesman Altaf Thakur has greeted people of J&K and rest of the country on the eve of two special occasions- Holi and Shab-e-Baraat (night of repentance and forgiveness).
In a statement here Thakur said, “The festival of colours reflects love and brotherhood that the people across India have for each other. He prayed that may the festival of colours bring unlimited joy and happiness in JK and the rest of the country.”
Thakur also prayed to Almighty Allah to turn the Shab- Baraat as a night of blessings’ peace and prosperity for the people of J&K. “On the auspicious occasion of pious and sacred night of Shab- e- Baraat, the night of blessings and repentance, I pray to Almighty Allah for your long life, success, peace, and property in your lives,” he added.
