Srinagar: A truck driver was injured after hit by a shooting stone along Panthayal in Ramban district, officials said.
They said that the area has been witnessing intermittent shooting stones for quite a while now and one such stone hit a truck driver identified as Tajamul Ahmad a resident of Yaar Khushipora Qazigund, leaving him injured besides damaging the truck bearing registration number JK22- 8588.
The injured driver, they said, was given first aid by a local NGO, following which he was evacuated from the site to a nearby health facility for treatment. (GNS)
