Police facilitates interaction meet in Budgam

Srinagar: As a part of public outreach programme, Jammu and Kashmir Police in Budgam facilitated Police-public interaction meeting at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Patwaw.

The meeting was chaired by DySP Headquarters Budgam Naeem Wani along with SHO PS Budgam. The meeting was attended by prominent respectables & representatives of villages Patwaw, Juhama, Sarpanchs/Panchs, Numbardars and other citizens falling in the jurisdiction of Police Station Budgam.

During the meeting, participants raised many issues of public importance. Chairing officers listened to the grievances patiently and thereafter assured them that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority and every possible help will be provided to the people of the area and rest of issues pertaining to other departments will be taken up with concerned authorities for early redressal.

The participants were also stressed to co-operate with police and administration in maintaining L&O in the area and in identifying anti-national/anti-social elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment.

The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinionsĀ freely.
