Kishtwar: Police in Kishtwar arrested two notorious drug peddlers at Model Naka Drabshalla in Kishtwar district and recovered heroine from their possession.
In a statement, Police spokesman said that Kishtwar police developed a specific information and leads from pervious information and accordingly Model Naka Drabshalla was activated led by Insp Mohd Naseer assisted by PSI Happy Choudhary and arrested two notorious drug peddler and recovered Heroine (chitta) like substance weighing about 12gms and arrested them on spot.
The arrested persons were identified as Kamran Ahmed son of Abdul Rashid Sheikh of Linkroad Kishtwar and Toyeb Parvaiz son of Parvaiz Ahmed Kandoo of Umar Mohalla Kishtwar.
Accordingly, police said that a case under FIR number 297/2022 stands registered at PS Kishtwar under relevant sections of law and investigation has been taken up. (CNS)
