Srinagar: A free medical camp was organized by Army and Civil Administration in collaboration with “Borderless World Foundation”, a Maharashtra based NGO at Primary Health Centre, Sallar on Sunday.
The camp provided free medical aid to the local population of Anantnag district, a defence spokesman said.
Dr Rushikesh Parmar, Head of the NGO ‘Borderless World Foundation’ alongwith five doctors specialising in the fields of Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics and general medicine conducted the medical camp.
The Government medical set up was also incorporated after due liaison with DC and Chief Medical Officer, Anantnag.
Approximately 1000 locals who are economically disadvantaged were benefited from the camp through free medical treatment and medicines. The efforts of Army and Civil Administration have been highly commended by the local population.
