Extending learning space

The concept of learning is changing fast. The emphasis is being laid on preparing the students in the school for the real world.
During the past few years cities and villages have witnessed rapid transformation in school education. Fusion of technology and tradition has provided the progressive path to schools.
Education has not remained confined to only books. The emphasis is being laid on making the students aware about the social connections, universal values and life skills, which they can implement in their real lives after they come out from the schools. The efforts are being made to extend the learning space of the students beyond the classrooms.

The New Education Policy focuses on engagement and involvement in both classroom as well as field study. Teachers have to play an important role today to create an atmosphere for curiosity and collaboration. They have to encourage the students to be more imaginative and develop creative skills.
The schools are working towards enhancing the knowledge, skills, innovation and awareness to blossom. The schools lay a foundation of the careers of the students as it’s the first place where the students learn the basics of life. The schools help in making the children understand the challenges that life could pose.
A student’s capacity to be a better scientist, doctor, engineer, musician hinges on the efforts to be more inquisitive, creative and learn the values that act as navigation tools for the future.
During the past few years there has been increased student-teacher engagement, where a teacher acts as a mentor, and encourages the students to think across the boundaries of subjects and disciplines.
Teacher-student relationships are important for students to grow and become confident in their lives. The teacher plays an important role in building the life of a student and the New Education Policy revolves around making students all-rounder’s.
