Srinagar: All India Motor Bike Expedition 2022 (AIME), Department of Youth Service & Sports in collaboration with Army organised a motorcycle expedition from Amritsar to Manali via Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh from 11 to 20 Sep 22.
A total of 120 Motor Bikers participated in this event and passed through Srinagar on 13 Sept 22 to further head towards Kargil.
The rally was organised to commemorate the 23 yrs of Victory over Pakistan in Kargil War of 1999 and celebrate spirit of ‘AZADI ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
The team of 120 Motor Bikers embarked on this ‘expedition’ will endeavour to replicate the indomitable spirit to the Kargil brave hearts and rekindle the spirit of fortitude, courage and adventure synonyms with the Indian Army.
During the rally, the team will travel through high mountain passes and arduous tracks with an insight to reach remote localities along the route.
The rally intends to spread the message of Patriotism by highlighting the grit and determination portrayed by our brave soldiers, deployed in service of the nation.
