Drug addiction a grave issue: Director Health
Srinagar: Health Department Kashmir today organised a pledge taking ceremony across kashmir hospitals to fight against drug menace in the valley, under Nasha mukht Baharat abhiyaan. The major function took place at Directorate of health services kashmir head office Bemina srinagar, where all health officers and officials of health Directorate took pledge in presence of Director Health services Dr. Rather Mushtaq Simultaneously at the same time the pledge was taken in all health institutions across kashmir valley. While speaking on the occasion Director Health services kashmir said that drug abuse has become a very grave issue and the society as a whole needs to unite to fight against this social evil.
Nodal officer Nasha mukht abhiyaan DHS K Dr. Majid shafi said that throughout the month awareness activities will continue in all health institutions across valley to promote awareness about drug menace prevelrnt in the society. .
