Rajouri: At least 16 passengers were injured in a road accident that took place in Nowshera sub division area of Rajouri district on Monday.
Officials told a local news gathering agency that a canter bus plying on Thalka Lam road fell in a roadside gorge, resulting in injuries to 16 persons travelling in the vehicle.
The injured have been identified as Zaitoon Bi, Ghulam Qadir, Asad Iqbal, Shahida Kouser, Basharat Hussain, Nazir Kouser, Sakina Begum, Zahida Parveen, Mohammad Shoket, Mohammad Ishfaq, Mohammad Bashir, Mukhtar Hussain, Anisa Tabassum, Shamim Chowdhury, Basharat Hussain and Mumtaz Ali.
Police said to have taken up investigation of the case after registration of FIR in local police station. (KNO)
