Srinagar: The much awaited Tv Reality Show Koun Banega Lakhpati (KBL) is all set to start from 13 August at 9 pm this year on ANN News.
The promo released by the channel shows that a class 11 student from Natipora Srinagar is the first contestant who is just one question away from Rs 10 lakh question.
Kashmir’s own version of reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati has created buzz on social media with people eagerly waiting for the show.
“Yes, we are pleased to announce the commencement of KBL- Season 1 from 13 August 9pm. The inaugural event of KBL will start at 7pm and the KBL episode will run at sharp 9pm,” confirmed Mudasir Yaqoob, Executive Editor and Chief to Board of Directors of ANN News. Yaqoob is also hosting the show.
Tariq Bhat, Editor in Chief of ANN News said that the response about this Tv reality show from common people of Kashmir is encouraging. “From school going children to retired government officials, everyone is taking part in auditions. KBL has become a platform for people of Kashmir to demonstrate their knowledge and win millions,” Bhat added.
He added that a class 11 bright student Sabreena Yaseen from Srinagar has also set a record for being first contestant on Hot Seat after qualifying auditions, by answering the questions in shortest time compared to his other contestants in run to Hot Seat.
The host of the show Mudasir Yaqoob could be seen in promo praising a 17 year old Sabreena Yaseen and presenting a question for Rs 1 Lakh before her.
The promo suggests that Sabreena has locked the answer and then the clip shows she becomes nervous where the promo ends with audio message “KBL; watch every Saturday and Sunday 9pm only on ANN News.”
