Har Ghar Tiranga: JKAP 6th Bn organizes series of programmes

Srinagar: JKAP 6th battalion on Friday organized a special Tiranga march and a Nukkad Natak was also presented to commemorate “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” & “Har Ghar Jhanda” programmes at Mendhar Town.

The special Tiranga march had an overwhelming participation of over 200 participants including students of St. Francis kids world school Mendhar, students of other local school & officers/officials of JKAP 6th Bn.

During the event, a Nukkad Natak on the theme “Aan Baan Shan of Tiranga/Har Ghar Tiranga was also presented by the students of Govt. Degree College Mendhar. During the event a stall was also established to distribute free of cost National Flags and pamphlets amongst the general public. In the said events awareness was also generated in the general public regarding Flag code of India and other legal provisions.

The aim of these programmes was to bring awareness among the general public about the importance of National Flag as well as to inculcate the feelings of Patriotism amongst the general masses and respect for National Flag.

During the event Dy.SP Sheezan Bhat, SDPO Mendhar, Tehsildar Mendhar Gourav Sharma, Professors Govt. Degree College Mendhar Akram Choudhary, Ajaz Chowdhary, Civil Society members Mendhar Satish Bhargav, Sarpanch Gohlad Sneh Lata, Sumo Union President, Mendhar Kafeel Khan, President Bus Stand Mendhar Bharat Bhushan & other prominent citizens were also present.

On the conclusive moments of programme, Dy.SP Mohd Farooq Khan-Adjutant, JKAP 6th Bn. conveyed vote of thanks with the brief deliberations. In the said event trophies and certificates were distributed among the participating students of different institutes. At last, CO JKAP 6th Bn. Suram Singh, JKPS/SSP gave press briefing regarding the Har Ghar Jhanda event organized to commemorate “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”.

The said series of events were appreciated by the general public of Mendhar and public was seen quite enthusiastic.
