PM visit: LG pats administration

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday lauded the administration for putting all arrangements in place ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to village Palli on April 24 in Samba district.

Modi is scheduled to visit Pali Panchayat on “Panchayati Raj Diwas” and address a gathering including over 30,000 Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members of Jammu and Kashmir besides around 700 panchayats from across the country virtually.

Sinha told reporters after reviewing the preparations: “The administration has done a good job. All arrangements are in place.”

He said the Prime Minister will launch many developmental projects besides addressing the panchayat members.

The Prime Minister is also expected to launch industrial investments worth Rs 70,000 crore and inaugurate and lay the foundation for some developmental projects including two power projects.
