PSAJK condoles demise of eminent educationist G M Malik

Srinagar: Private Schools’ Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) Sunday expressed its deepest condolences on the demise of an eminent educationist G M Malik, former Joint Director Education and President Private Schools’ Association District Baramulla.

The Private Schools’ Association termed the demise of G M Malik as a huge loss to the education sector. Malik was a person of numerous qualities and a great educator.

All those who remember him as physics lecturer recall the moments of a simple, very humble, friendly teacher who loved his students, would do everything to solve their problems. He never thought of himself some different species but one among them.

His later trajectory of services saw him carrying these humble humanistic traits along.

He had a very keen sense of urgency to contribute towards betterment of society, and choose field of education, and did his part. His demise is irreversible and loss for socity. Our best tribute to the departed soul shall only be to carry forward his educational mission forward in a humanistic way, for collective good.

He has left a shining legacy which needs to be guarded and taken forward. Malik was a great edu leader and is credited for establishing FaizanHr Secondary School at a time when such an institution with a low fee in private sector was rare. With a vision to provide quality education to every section of the society he made number of positive interventions in the education sector.

“He was a kind soul of so many virtues, dedicated to profession, passionate in his purpose and always a true gentleman and mentor to the students,” said G N Var president PSAJK.

The association in a condolence meeting highlighted the work of G. M. Malik who was an ace educationist and a very popular personality among students and teachers alike. The members of Association expressed their deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength and courage to them at this juncture and also prayed for eternal peace and highest place in Jannat for the departed soul.
