Srinagar: An alleged notorious drug peddler was on Monday booked under stringent Public Safety Act in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said.
They told GNS that one Hilal Ahmed Khan son of Abdul Rashid Khan, a resident of Maidanpora Lolab was booked under PSA vide order number 05- DMK /PSA dated 18.03.2022 by police in Lalpora.
Confirming it, a senior police officer told GNS that the accused is being shifted to Central Jail at Kot Bhalwal Jammu under proper police guard.
