Bandipora: A residential house belonging to a Municipal Councilor got partially damaged in a mysterious fire incident in Wangipora village of Sumbal in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Reports reaching GNS said that fire broke out in the residential house of Gulshana Begum, councilor of Ward number 1 Sumbal this evening.
The firefighters and locals doused the flames and prevented the fire from spreading further, they said, adding that the residential house suffered partial damage.
Husband of the Councilor told GNS that goods & clothes worth thousands got damaged in the blaze.
Moreover, the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
