Srinagar: At least three students have been tested positive for Covid-19 on day 12 of their winter skiing camp organized by biscoe-Mallinson institution.
On Saturday, the parents got an SMS, informing them that students will be back from 15 day Gulmarg camp and they need to receive them at school by 4pm. Despite, students were scheduled to be back on Monday as per scheduled. However, the sudden information from the school came as shocker to them.
Families being worried ,have alleged that school administration has done nothing enough to protect its students, Braving rains, parents held protest against school authorities for showing utter negligence with the health of students in particular.
“The school management needs to look out at the situation through the prism, if students have got positive reports, how they can not clear “such thing” with parents, scores of parents said.
“More than 2 students on camp are COVID positive, and that was a shocker,” said one of the parents.
Appealing the higher authorities to take cognizance of this act by the renowned school admin and cancel further skiing programmes, the parents have urged others to take precautions seriously amid spike in rising cases of Corona and Omicron. (CNS)
