Doda: A two-storey building was gutted in a massive blaze that broke out at Madrasa Abu Huraira Main Bharath in Doda district on Monday evening, officials said.
Officials said that the fire broke out at Madrasa Abu Huraira Main Bharath in Doda following which the locals rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
“Although the fire has been controlled by locals and there is no loss of life but two story building has been totally damaged,” they said, adding that the library of Madrassa and the belongings of children studying there have been destroyed.
According to Nazim Madrassa, cash worth lakhs have also gutted in the incident. (KNO)
