J&K truck operators protest in Sgr

Srinagar:  Jammu and Kashmir truck operators’ welfare union held a protest at press colony Srinagar, demanding to stop loading and unloading charges from truck owners or drivers.

The truck operators said “Loading/ unloading charges throughout the country has been stopped but unfortunately in Jammu and Kashmir it has not been implemented yet.”

Protesters said that the fuel prices are already on peak and they can’t afford loading/ unloading charges on top of it.

“We all transporters park our trucks at home, if our demands will not be fulfilled,” the protesters said. (KNO)
