4 injured in Ganderbal road accident

Ganderbal: Four persons including a girl sustained injuries after a personal vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Wayil village of central-Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, officials said on Thursday.

Officials said that the incident happened when an Alto car bearing registration number JK16B 1916 skidded off the road and fell into a gorge, resulting in injuries to four people.

The officials said the injured were shifted to nearby hospital treatment where they were shifted to SKIMS Soura hospital for advance treatment.

They identified the injured as Fayaz Ahmad Mochi son of Ghulam Mohammad Mochi, Farman Balti son of Mohd Hassan Balti, Umer Rashid Mir son of Abdul Rashid, Sheeba Shah daughter of Ghulam Ahmad Shah all the residents of Ganderbal.

According to officials, the condition of one injured person (Umer Rashid Mir) is said to be critical.

Meanwhile, police in this regard have registered a case and started further investigation. (KNO)
