Handwara: A 4-year-old boy died after falling into a trench in Pringroo Mawar in Handwara on Tuesday morning.
Reports reaching GNS said that a boy namely Haider Iqbal Mir son of Mohammad Iqbal Mir was playing outside his home when he fell into a newly-constructed trench. The minor was immediately evacuated to NTPHC Qalamabad in unconscious condition, where the doctor however declared him as brought dead on arrival.
A pall of gloom has descended on the locality over the tragic death of the minor boy. (GNS)
