Srinagar: One death was reported in Kashmir while 127 fresh COVID positive cases were witnessed in the J&K during the past 24 hours.
Officials said that one corona positive person died in Kashmir valley on September 26.
They said 127 new COVID positive cases were reported in the Jammu and Kashmir , where no new confirmed case of mucormycosis has been reported today. Till now a total of 46 confirmed cases have been reported in the UT of J&K, he added.
Srinagar continued to record highest number of COVID positive cases in the J&K. Officials said out of 104 cases reported in the valley, 56 were from Srinagar, where authorities have imposed corona curfew in ten wards in the down town since Friday for ten days.
However, Kupwara, Kulgam and Shopian did not witness any fresh case during the past 24 hours, they said.
Baramulla recorded 13 followed by Pulwama 12, Badgam eight, Ganderbal seven, Anantnag and Bandipora four each.
