Srinagar: As the schools and colleges have reopened for higher calsses in Kashmir students are facing certain difficulties in returning to their old method off learning i.e. offline classes.
A group of students while talking to Precious Kashmir said, “Detachment from physical classes and exams for a longtime is making it difficult for us to cope up with the offline classes. We’ve strived hard to overcome the repercussions caused by COVID-19 pandemic. This deadly virus hit every sector but the students were worst hit.”
The group said that applications like Zoom , Google Meeting proved bliss in disguise. “Students somehow managed to understand the medium of online learning knowing the fact that it was meant for their betterment,” they added.
Abid Mushtaq said, “Online classes couldn’t educate us as the schooling used to. Virtual classes were different. There’s less time to learn things with more accuracy when it comes to online classes. Slow internet speed also served as a deterrent.”
He said, “The pandemic is still there, we are yet to experience third COVID-19 wave. We have to follow the COVID-19 sops in letter and spirit. I don’t really understand why all of sudden schools and colleges were reopened amidst the third wave threat. Let’s hope we sail through.”
