Barring Srinagar and Budgam, Mobile Internet To Be Restored In Kashmir At 7 P.M. Today: IGP Kashmir

Srinagar: Authorities have decided to restore mobile internet services in Kashmir Valley, barring Srinagar and Budgam, from 7 p.m.

“Mobile internet will be open shortly today at 7pm in all districts except Srinagar & Budgam,” Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar told GNS.

He said that decision regarding restoration of the services in Srinagar and Budgam will be reviewed tomorrow afternoon.

Mobile internet was snapped soon after Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani’s death on evening of September 1.

The authorities had also snapped telephony and broadband internet except lesser-used BSNL services but the services were restored after three days. (GNS)
