Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday condemned attack by unknown persons suspected to be militants at a BJP leader’s house in Rajouri last night.
“Strongly condemn the cowardly attack in the house of a political leader in Rajouri in which a 2-year old child was killed & others were injured. My deepest condolences to family & prayers for early recovery of injured. Perpetrators of this heinous act will be brought to justice soon,” Sinha said.
The attack on BJP Mandal president Jasbir Singh, an ex-serviceman, at Khandli bridge Chowk in the heart of Rajouri town happened at 9.25 p.m. last night, killing his two-year-old nephew Veer Singh son of Balbir Singh and injuring him and six family members who are hospitalized.
