JAMMU: FICCI FLO Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh Chapter, today handed over 100 mattresses and 100 Fibre Pillows to the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Dr. Raghav Langer, for rural Covid Care centres, here at his office.
A delegation comprising Varuna Anand, Sr. Vice Chairperson & Ritika Trehan, Executive Secretary, under the guidance of the chairperson, Ritu Sing presented the donated material to the Div Com.
The visiting delegation informed that FICCI FLO Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh Chapter was launched on the May 2021 and ‘within a few days of resuming office, Ritu Singh, through the imminent FICCI FLO network, secured a donation of these 100 Healthmat mattresses and 100 Fibre Pillows through Namita Gautam, who is known for her largesse and social work.’
“Going by the directive for Covid relief work of LT. Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Shri Manoj Sinha, of making isolation centers in each Panchayat of all rural areas, Ritu Singh considered it as her moral responsibility to help the government with this initiative and provide instant covid relief to reach the rural areas of our Union Territory” the delegation said.
