Srinagar: Kashmir Traders & Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) senior Vice President Manzoor Ahmad Bhat extended greeting on start of holy month of Ramadan to people of Jammu and Kashmir and urged administration to ensure smooth supply of essential during the holy month of fasting.
In a statement, Manzoor said, “Fasting not only teaches us the courage to counter hardship, but also plays a key role in strengthening brotherhood, truthfulness and positivity in the society”.
“The whole population is marred by the COVID-19 pandemic right now and our economic worries have worsen therefore we should start from our neighbourhood and look for the deserving by helping them without any show-off,” he said.
Bhat asked administration to ensure smooth flow of essential commodities during the holy month of Ramadan and keep an eye on the profiteers and hoarders.
“It is government’s utmost duty to assure continuous supply of electricity, gas and water during Sehri and Iftaar timing,” he said.
