BJP top leadership visits Bandipora, interacts with relatives of slain party workers

 

Bandipora, July 12: Bhartiya Janata Party top leadership Sunday morning visited the residence of slain BJP leader Sheikh Waseem Bari here in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Bari along with his brother Sheikh Umar (BJP Coordinator), father Sheikh Bashir (BJP senior leader) were gunned down by militants outside their home in Muslimabad area of Bandipora. Police have already suspended 10 of their security guards.

Police sources told news agency KNT that BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav, Union Minister MoS PMO office Dr Jatinder Singh, National Vice- President Avinash Rai Khanna and Jammu Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina accompanied by Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar visited the house of slain party leaders.

 

These leaders expressed grief over the killing of trio and interacted with the family members and relatives of the slain men.
