New Delhi, Apr 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday had a telephonic conversation with US President Donald Trump on the Novel Coronavirus pandemic, which has swept the world, killing more than 50,000 and affecting more than a million people.
In a tweet on Saturday evening, Modi said that he had an ‘extensive telephone conversation’ with President Trump.
“We had a good discussion, and agreed to deploy the full strength of the India-US partnership to fight COVID-19,” the Prime Minister tweeted.
America is the worst-hit country by the COVID-19 outbreak, overtaking China, from where the lethal viral infection had first broken out in Wuhan city.
