Srinagar, June 17: Authorities on Wednesday detained Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, Nazir Ahmad Yattoo, after he tried to hoist the flag of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir State at clock Tower (Gantaghar) in the commercial hub in Lal Chowk.
Witnesses told KNO that Yattoo appeared in Lal Chowk area this afternoon and attempted to hoist the flag of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir State. Yatoo was intercepted by the police and detained.
