Poonch: One labourer was killed and four others were injured after big rocks fell during road construction work in Sawajian area of Poonch district on Monday.
A senior police officer told GNS that the incident took place today at Village Agan Pathri, Sawajian, Tehsil Mandi, District Poonch, when labourers were working on a road construction project.
One person identified as Mohd Bashir (45), son of Ali Mohd, resident of Danna Gagrian, Sawajian, died on the spot while four others sustained injuries after big stones rolled down and hit them.
The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. The victims were working as GREF labourers, officials said.
