Srinagar, September 15:Â As part of its continued efforts to enhance public outreach and strengthen Police-Public relations, J&K Police organised a Public Darbar at Panchayat Ghar, Litter, under the chairmanship of SSP Pulwama Sahil Sarangal-IPS.
The Darbar witnessed participation of hundreds of respectable persons from Litter and adjoining villages, who brought forth various issues and grievances related to their day-to-day lives and sought the intervention of the Police for their resolution.
SSP Pulwama listened to the participants attentively and assured them that their genuine concerns would be taken up with the concerned authorities for prompt and appropriate redressal. He also encouraged the people to continue engaging with the Police and assured them of all possible assistance within the ambit of law.
During the interaction, SSP Pulwama underscored the importance of close coordination between the Police and the public in maintaining peace, security and a safe environment. He reiterated that an effective and people-friendly policing system is built on mutual trust, cooperation and regular interaction with the community.
The participants appreciated the initiative and expressed their gratitude to SSP Pulwama and Pulwama Police for providing them an opportunity to directly interact with the senior police leadership and place their concerns before the authorities.
