SAMBA, SEPTEMBER 14:Â Deputy Commissioner Samba Ayushi Sudan Monday chaired a meeting to review the implementation of the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) in District Samba.
The meeting focused on assessing the progress of apprenticeship registrations and placements, identifying gaps in implementation and ensuring greater participation of local industries and establishments.
Moreover, the DC directed the concerned departments to intensify awareness campaigns, facilitate registration of eligible candidates and employers and ensure effective coordination among all stakeholders.
Emphasis was laid on providing skill development and employment opportunities to local youth through apprenticeship training and strengthening industry–institution linkages in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed timely achievement of targets and directed the concerned officers to closely monitor the progress and resolve implementation-related issues on priority.
The meeting was attended by GM DIC Gurpreet Singh, ALC Suninderjeet Kour and other concerned officers.
