Srinagar, Sep 3: The Centre has ordered the posting of three IAS officers currently serving in Jammu and Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh with immediate effect, according to an order issued on September 3, 2026.
The officers are Ajaz Mohd, IAS of the 2012 batch, Harvinder Singh, IAS of the 2019 batch, and Shishir Gupta, IAS of the 2020 batch.
All three officers belong to the AGMUT cadre and have been ordered to move from Jammu and Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh under the posting order issued with the approval of the competent authority.
The order directs that the officers be relieved within 15 days from the date of its issuance.
The move comes as part of cadre-level postings within the AGMUT framework, under which officers are allocated among the Union Territories and states covered by the cadre. [KNT]
