Srinagar, August 21: In a continued drive against drug trafficking and illicit narcotics activities, J&K Police executed a warrant under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT-NDPS) Act against Mohammad Ashraf Ganie son of Gh. Mohi-ud-Din Ganie resident of Waghama, Bijbehara.
The warrant, issued by the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, was executed in accordance with the prescribed legal procedure. The individual was apprehended and subsequently lodged in District Jail Bhaderwah.
Police remains resolute in its efforts to dismantle the network of drug trafficking and will continue to take strict and decisive legal action against those involved in the illicit drug trade.
