Several DMOs transferred

Srinagar, Aug 2: The Jammu and Kashmir Government Friday ordered the transfer and posting of several District Mineral Officers and other officials of the Mining Department with immediate effect.

According to the Government Order issued by the Civil Mining Department, Javid Ahmad Malik, JKAS, who was awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as District Mineral Officer, Pulwama.

Kaiser Ahmed Lone, Geologist Grade-III presently posted in the office of the Joint Director, Geology and Mining, Kashmir, has been posted as District Mineral Officer, Baramulla.

Umar Mustafa Mir, Geologist Grade-III, has been posted as District Mineral Officer, Ganderbal, relieving Ghulam Nabi Pintoo, District Mineral Officer, Bandipora, from the additional charge of the post.

Ranjit Singh, Driller, presently posted in the office of the Senior Drilling Engineer, Geology and Mining, Kashmir, has been posted as District Mineral Officer, Budgam.

Mohammad Saleem Dar, Incharge Mineral Officer, Pulwama, has been transferred to the office of the Joint Director, Geology and Mining, Kashmir.

Zulfikar Mohammad Shafi, Driller, presently posted as District Mineral Officer, Baramulla, has been transferred to the office of the Senior Drilling Engineer, Geology and Mining, Kashmir.

Nadeem Ahmad Bhat, Junior Engineer (Chemical), presently posted in the office of the District Mineral Officer, Budgam, has been transferred to the Chemical and Mineral Testing Laboratory, Budgam.

The order further directs Faisal Masood Wani, Driller, presently posted as District Mineral Officer, Anantnag, and Khursheed Ahmad Dar, Chemist, presently posted as District Mineral Officer, Kulgam, to swap their present places of posting.

The officers have been deemed relieved from their present places of posting with immediate effect.

The order has been issued by the Civil Mining Department in the interest of administration. [KNT]
