Schools to reopen on July 27
Srinagar: The summer vacation for all Government and recognized private schools in the Kashmir Division and Winter Zones of Jammu Division has been extended up to July 26, 2026, officials said on Monday.
Citing the safety and well-being of students, teachers and their families as the foremost priority, the order stated that schools will now reopen on Monday, July 27, 2026.
Authorities have urged parents, students and staff to stay safe, remain vigilant and follow advisories issued by the concerned departments in view of the prevailing weather conditions. (GNS)
